The Mt. Lebanon Lions Club is the local chapter of the largest international service organization. The Mt. Lebanon Club performs several community services, and raises money to support local, national and international causes, many of which address prevention and treatment of sight loss.
The most well-known of the Club's activities is the Mt. Lebanon Lions Club Farmer's Market, held weekly in the church parking lot on Washington Road at the intersection with Cochran Road. The Market is open now, every Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm., through October 20, 2010. Please visit http://www.mtlebanonlionsfarmersmarket.com for information and updates.
The Club also sells trash bags and brooms as a fundraising effort. Please contact us by calling 412-561-6200 or by email at info@mtlebanonlions.com with your questions or comments.
The current President is Walt Heintzleman. We meet monthly from September through June, on the first Wednesday of the month at 11:45 for lunch at Mitchell's in the Galleria. The Club is always looking for new members who are interested in helping fulfill the Lions' goal of living up to the motto - "We Serve."
